Destiny 2 If you’re new to Destiny 2, understand that Exotics are a sought-after sort of item in the franchise, offering powerful benefits that are often build-enabling. The gamer can equip only one Exotic weapon and armor piece at a time. However, it’s not necessary that you should own only one. There are hundreds of Exotics to chase, and thus you’ll want a good roll for each one in the game.

Thankfully, there never has been a better time to farm Destiny 2 Exotic. Nightfalls, Lost Sectors and casual alternatives have made earning Exotics easier than in previous times. If you’re looking for farming the best armor rolls for your Exotic armor collection, here are a few best activities to farm Exotics you should try in Destiny 2.

1. Legend and Master Lost Sectors

Destiny 2: Beyond Light was the first to introduce the legendary Lost Sectors. Every day, two Lost Sectors are upgraded with a higher difficulty variant – one Legend, the other Master – that includes additional modifiers and Champions. If you clear a Legend or Master Lost Sector solo, you get a high chance of receiving an Exotic armor piece. These Exotic armor pieces will drop always in a particular armor slot (head, arms, chest or legs). The drop rate of Master is higher than that of Legend, albeit Master is much more difficult.

  1. This has two caveats:
  2. These Lost Sectors have to be completed solo.

You’ll have to wait for a Lost Sector to have a particular category of Exotic in its reward pool.

2. Farming Legendary Lost Sectors

Completing a Lost Sector in a fireteam voids the Exotic armor reward. The second point is that, Legend and Master Lost Sectors alternate their Exotic drops daily. This alternation is predetermined. For example, if a Legend Lost Sector is dropping helmets, it will drop leg armor the next day. The order of rotation of drops is as follows:

  1. Helmet
  2. Leg Armor
  3. Arms
  4. Chest Armor

If you’re able to handle both those caveats, you can complete these Lost Sectors easily in 3 to 4 minutes on Legend difficulty, 7 to 8 minutes on Master. Every two to four runs will offer an Exotic on these runs, making it an excellent Exotic farm when Nightfalls don’t have a double loot week.

3. The Best Legendary Lost Sectors

A lot of Lost Sectors have been released in Year 4 of Destiny 2, so, you may wonder which ones are the best to farm. Here are a few Legend Lost Sectors that are recommended to farm:

Bunker E15 (Europa): This Lost Sector offers you AI companions pathway through. It’s the best Lost Sector for lower-level players looking for acquiring their first few Exotics.

Veles Labyrinth (Cosmodrome): This is arguably the easiest Lost Sector in Destiny 2. You can clear it entirely in 2 minutes or even less.

K1 Revelation (Moon): This is a quite easy Lost Sector to speedrun, if your build has good add-clear.

The Quarry (EDZ): It’s possible to clear this Lost Sector in about two minutes if you have a good build. It’s one of the shortest Lost Sectors you can farm.

We hope that these tips will help you get Destiny 2 Exotics and you can do well in the game. Happy playing!
